We’re Jeremey and Megan, a husband-and-wife team who love seeing the world together—even when our idea of the perfect day looks a little different.
Jeremey would happily spend sunrise to sunset chasing trout on a beautiful river. Megan is just as interested in what lies beyond the water—the food, culture, scenery, history, people, and experiences that make a destination worth visiting.
And that’s exactly why we created Together on the Fly.
One Destination. Two Perspectives.
There are plenty of places that can tell you where to catch fish. And there are countless travel sites that can tell you where to eat, stay, and sightsee.
We wanted to bring those worlds together.
Together on the Fly explores destinations from both sides of the river.
We want to know whether the fishing lives up to the hype—but we also want to know what makes the destination special when the rods are put away.
Can one of us spend the day with a guide while the other explores a historic town, visits a winery, hikes through incredible scenery, enjoys a great meal, or discovers something completely unexpected?
And at the end of the day, do we both walk away thinking:
“We’d come back here.”
Our Story
Our story started long before Together on the Fly.
We met in Puerto Rico while serving in the U.S. Navy, married in 1999, raised two children, built careers, and spent more than two decades creating a life together.
Now that our kids are grown, we’ve entered a new chapter—one with a little more freedom, a growing travel list, and plenty of places left to explore.
Together on the Fly grew from a simple realization: some of our best trips happen when we don’t spend every minute doing the same thing.
Instead, we find destinations that give each of us something to look forward to—and plenty to experience together.
The River Is Just the Beginning.
Great fishing can make an incredible day. A great destination can make an unforgettable trip.
